POSITION: HMR (Home Meal Replacement) Specialist

JOB SCOPE: Provide consultation and training for Home Meal Replacement (HMR) department

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Certificate/Diploma – a relevant Specialist area
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• A Valid Driver’s License and be able to drive
• Must be able to cook as well, not just advising & consulting alone
• Financial and business understanding
• Good knowledge of store operations
• Able to work independently
• Knowledge of food safety

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain effective customer relationship
• Check standards to identify adherence or deviations
• Ensure that stores implement and comply with minimum standards as per ROC and QPRO
• Promote hygiene standards to support the store image
• Drive promotions at Retail to affect sales
• Schedule visits to all Retailer portfolio (call cycle) and promotional stock
• Assist with stocktake
• Implement a Tailored Service Package (TSP)
• Identify opportunities for new store equipment and specifications
• Advise on store systems and train Retail staff on the application of systems
• Comply with legislation and policies
• Train on stock take and costing
• Address unproductive and unprofitable practices
• Audit waste control, production standards, and processes, and formulate action
• Conduct price checks
